Name
The name of the vineyard carries several messages, and the first is that the flowers grown by the owners on an area of about 1 hectare are called cosmos, which pleases the senses, but also gives life to beneficial insects. Another meaning of the vineyard's name is that the area, which is almost completely free of light pollution, allows you to admire countless stars on cloudless nights, you can get away from mundane matters and contemplate with a glass of wine while gazing at the cosmos. The third message comes from the fact that cosmos is also a mental shorthand for the word cosmopolitanism, a vision of a world free of division and conflict.

Habitat
The vineyard occupies 3 different plots of land. Each located about 3km from each other:
Parcel Slotowa
The steepest of all, with a southern exposure, surrounded by mixed forest. There is a specific microclimate, thanks to the shelter from the wind and the rocky ground, the soil, once warmed up, keeps warm for a long time, which has a significant impact on the cultivation and ripening of the grapes.
Parcel Pod domem
Also a steep hill with a southern exposure. It is sheltered from the west by a dense larch forest, and from the east by relief. The soil is varied, clay-loam with rock rubble, sandstone, granite and fishplates.
Parcel Ptasznik
Slightly inclined to the south, it is distinguished by lighter soil, heats up faster but also loses temperature faster so here the differences between day and night are the greatest, this affects the aromas in the closed in grapes.
